SHIPPING & RETURNS
General Packing
At Fat and Prickly, we take the time to inspect each plant to make sure it is healthy and ready for shipping. Every box is packed with care and secured with recyclable crinkle paper to protect the plants for the journey to their new home. The plants are shipped using dry soil to prevent root rotting from happening during shipment. Plants may be slightly wilted upon arrival, but will recover easily with proper care.
Cuttings, Leaves, or Bare Root Plants
These plants are shipped together in a box and are not guaranteed to root after planting.
Shipping Schedule
Shipping of live plants will occur Monday through Friday every week.
We ship year-round within the United States and its outlying territories via United States Postal Service (USPS). We do not offer international shipping due to strict agricultural regulations.

Damaged Goods
At Fat and Prickly, we take the time to inspect each plant to make sure it is healthy and disease free. Unfortunately, we are unable to control what happens to your order during shipping.
A store credit will be issued if a plant arrives damaged due to shipping. We do not offer returns on live plants, but we will do everything we can to guarantee your satisfaction. You must contact us within 48 hours of receipt of your order by sending an email to info@fatandprickly.com. Please provide photos of the damage, both to the packaging and the plants with your order number. Do not dispose of the packaging or goods as the carrier may request their return.
Shipping Weather Consideration
Winter - We highly recommend adding one of our shipping warmer heat packs to your order if you live in a cold winter area. Heat packs will help prevent frost damage but does not guarantee full protection. Alternatively, be sure to only use a heat pack when you are expecting near or freezing weather as the heat pack can damage the plants.
Summer - Succulents are drought tolerant and very resistant to the heat of the summer, but they may sometimes look wilted when they arrive after spending time in a box during transit. The plants will always recover easily once removed from the box and given proper care.
Please note that Fat and Prickly is not responsible for damage to plants due to weather. Thank you for your understanding.
